สถาบัน (กกร.) ประเมินว่า ความขัดแย้งดังกล่าวอาจส่งผลให้ GDP ไทยลดลงราว 0.1–0.8% ตามระดับความรุนแรงของสถานการณ์ แม้ประเทศไทยจะไม่ได้อยู่ในพื้นที่ความขัดแย้งโดยตรง ส่งผลให้หลายอุตสาหกรรมประสบปัญหาขาดแคลนแรงงานทั้งระดับไร้ฝีมือ กึ่งฝีมือ และแรงงานฝีมือ\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>ปัจจุบัน มีสมาคมภาคธุรกิจและผู้ประกอบการจำนวนมาก อาทิ ภาคก่อสร้าง ภาคการผลิต ภาคเกษตร อุตสาหกรรมอาหาร โรงแรม โลจิสติกส์ สิ่งทอ และผู้ประกอบการในพื้นที่ภาคตะวันออก ได้สะท้อนปัญหาการขาดแคลนแรงงานต่างด้าวอย่างรุนแรงมายัง กกร. ซึ่งส่งผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อการผลิต การให้บริการ และความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศ โดยเฉพาะในช่วงครึ่งหลังของปี 2569 ที่จะมีการลงทุนด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและผลผลิตทางการเกษตรออกสู่ตลาดจำนวนมาก\u003Cbr>\u003Cbr>ด้าน นายสุชาติ จันทรานาคราช รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย กล่าวว่า กกร. มีความกังวลต่อสถานการณ์แรงงานต่างด้าวที่ยังไม่มีแนวทางแก้ไขที่ชัดเจน จึงขอเรียกร้องให้รัฐบาลเร่งดำเนินมาตรการแก้ไขปัญหาอย่างเร่งด่วน Thailand continues to possess strong potential and competitive advantages in several areas.\u003Cbr>\u003Cbr>Mr. Viboon added that despite the economic opportunities, the private sector’s most pressing concern at present is the “labor shortage crisis,” which is increasingly creating structural challenges for Thai businesses. The issue stems from Thailand’s declining birth rate, a shrinking domestic workforce, and limitations on the importation of migrant workers. As a result, many industries are facing shortages across unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled labor segments.\u003Cbr>\u003Cbr>Currently, numerous business associations and entrepreneurs from sectors including construction, manufacturing, agriculture, food processing, hospitality, logistics, textiles, and businesses in the Eastern region have reported severe shortages of migrant workers to the JSCCIB. The issue is directly affecting production capacity, service operations, and the country’s overall competitiveness, particularly during the second half of 2026, when major infrastructure investments and large volumes of agricultural output are expected to enter the market.\u003Cbr>\u003Cbr>Mr. Suchat Chantranakornrach, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries, stated that the JSCCIB remains deeply concerned about the unresolved migrant labor situation and the lack of clear policy direction.
